Behind The Scenes!
I only started getting into the world of photography and cameras recently. 3 years ago I found an old Sony digicam laying around, and from there on I started my mini collection of digicams. I always loved the compactness of the digicams, as they were easy to use and gave off a beautiful nostalgic feeling. However, I slowly wanted to take more beautiful and higher quality photos of my life and others. I did some research and I now own a Fujifilm X100VI, which I try to use as frequently as I can I am still learning as I go on.
I work in tech and do not go out as often as I would like. Not to mention everywhere I want to go is usually over an hour or two of driving. I am looking into getting the Fujifilm XT6 about a year after it will come out and cannot wait to experiment with more interchangeable lenses. The only experience I have with those were with the camera I had bought for my friend, which was a lovely Canon that takes gorgeous photos for a budget friendly camera.
I enjoy many creative hobbies and one of my firsts creative journeys was through drawing. I started out as anyone would with pencils and pens before seeking out watercolors and eventually doing art digitally. I used to own a Wacom Intuos before losing interest due to gaining interest in other hobbies. I tend to go back to art often with little doodles here and there with my iPad. In fact, the little mallard duck with salt bread and the fishies on the cover page were drawn by me. Simple little drawings, but the customization makes me happy.
I would love to share my experiences as I know some of the hobbies I dive into have steep learning curves, so maybe this could help someone one day! Or maybe not, reddit was a good resource for me to be honest.
